18 October Anti-Slavery Day UN International Day Against People Traffickinganti slavery2
This occasion provides a focal point for raising awareness about the many people in the Ireland and around the world who continue to be trapped in modern slavery, and to promote the need for many individuals and organisations across society to play a part in ending it.

from falsehood to truth.
Lead me from despair to hope,
from fear to trust.
Lead me from hate to love,
from war to peace.
Let peace fill our heart, our world, our universe.  Read more
