Interim Review of the Cork City Integration Strategy
"CONNNECTING COMMUNITIES”, the Cork City Intergration Strategy was launched in 2008.   This was a strategic plan which sought to “welcome diversity, promote an intercultural society and to break down some of the barriers to integration in Cork City.”   .

Through an extensive consultation process integration needs were identified and agencies and community groups in the City were asked to commit to actions aimed at addressing these needs which included

  • Racism and Justice
  • Economic inclusion and equality of opportunity
  • Employment etc.

This Review provides and update on the implementation of the Strategy.  While it indicates many successes it also revealed a significant level of discrimination towards ethnic minorities in Cork City.  Download the full Report -  here.
